Where is the Housing Market in 2008?
Fox 6, San Diego Living, January 15, 2008
Chrissy Russo interviews her new favorite Doctor. Bob says he expects prices to slip a bit, but that sales should increase.
He says that once you get beyond all the emotional baggage, it comes down to supply and demand. The builders have cut way
back to reduce supply - and we lost nearly 1400 homes in the wildfires 3 months ago. We have always had demand, but now that is coupled with more affordability (up 20% of what it was last year).
Bob says some of the best buys will be forclosures and people can sign up for
San Diego's Finest Real Estate's

- Not going to be an easy year, but will be a better buying year than anticipated
- More foreclosures
- Aggressive pricing
- Some great deals
- Market trying to stabilize
If you buy now and plan to hold onto your property for a while, "You won't get hurt."
